Viralys Powder 100gm
Great product! I have bought the other versions (gel and food pellets) and my cat would not eat either. I tried this as a last resort to reduce her herpes outbreaks and hopefully boost her immune system....she eats the entire bowl of soft food when i mix this in. For the first time in 2 years, she has finally gone more then a few months (and counting) without a herpes outbreak and it has helped calm her down with chewing on everythinhg in the house to itch the outbreak. I recommend this product for cats and the recommended dose of twice a day goes a long way for the price. I know it wont cure it but it has reduced her symptoms significantly.

Excellent quality, value and service
This is a high quality L-Lysine HCL for cats and has proven very effective in treating both of my cats for Feline Herpes. The price was the lowest I've found for Viralys L-Lysine powder for cats. The powder mixes easily in canned cat food and my cats do not seem to notice or object to it, which they did with L-Lysine treats and L-Lysine paste. Shipping was very reasonable and fast.

Great Product / Great Value!
I buy this for my youngest cat (she's about 1.5 yrs old). She'd been found as a very sick kitten and the vet she'd been taken to said she was a "herpes" cat. I adopted her when she was about 3 or 4 mths old and took her to my vet who accepted the 1st Vet's diagnosis. I've never had a herpes cat and still am not quite sure if that's what she is. I just know that she gets cold like symptoms (runny/weepy eye(s) and sneezing w/snotty nose). The 1st vet had put her on this product and suggested weaning her off occasionally to see if she's "over" it. I've discovered in the year+ that I've had her that she needs this. She has no "cold" symptoms when on it, but when taken off, begins getting a runny eye within a couple of weeks. I give her a scoop in the morning in her wet food and another in the evening and she eats it right down. I've found that stirring a scoop of powder into a bit of the gravy dissolves it and I then mix it into the rest of the food. If there isn't much gravy, put a couple drops of warm water on it. There are other versions of this product (a can with a pump that dispenses a gel version that doesn't need dissolved first), but it's expensive. Do yourselves a favor and get this inexpensive version of the Lysine, it really works!

Great solution to a messy problem
My cats has a herpes infection in one eye. The vet recommended 500 mg of lysine twice a day. After trying grinding up pills, snipping the ends off capsules, and the sticky lysine in a tube also made by Viralyse, I found this powder. I just sprinkle it on the cat's wet food using the little measuring scoop that comes with the product. The cat does not mind it at all. Each jar lasts a long time. The powder is keeping her symptoms under control. I recommend it highly.
