Sky Café Feeder

Unique steeple-like dome keeps squirrels out and bird seeds safe. The secret is the steep pitch-squirrels simply slide off no matter how hard they try. Features

Assembly Instructions
Attach Seed Hopper to the Seed Tray and rotate the Seed Tray firmly until it locks into position. If you want to have a Sky Café A la Carte, assemble the Dividers and insert them into the Hopper.

Attach the S-Hook to one end of the Chain. Use pliers to close S-Hook onto end of Chain. Thread Chain through Rubber Washer, then Metal Washer, and then through Feeder Dome.

Insert the V-Wire through the last link of the Chain inside the Feeder Dome. Insert V-Wire ends into pre-drilled holes at top of Seed Hopper. Press Vinyl Tips onto protruding ends of the V-Wire.

Allow the Feeder Dome to slide onto top of Seed Hopper. Make sure that all four Feeder Dome guideposts remain on outside of the Seed Hopper.

Assembly Instructions for the Sky Café Dividers

1. Set your Sky Café Feeder on a stable surface and remove the Feeder Dome. Be sure that the Seed Hopper is clean and free of debris.
2. Carefully remove the Vinyl Tips from the V-Wire, and then remove the V-Wire.
3. Assemble the two Divider halves by aligning their notches and sliding them together snuggly.
4. Place the assembled Divider, inside the Sky Café Seed Hopper. Replace the V-Wire and Vinyl Tips.
5. Fill chambers with four favorite gourmet seed mixes and then replace the Feeder Dome.
6. Your installation is complete. Watch the excitement.

Hanging Instructions
Don't make it easy for squirrels! Hang your Sky Café Feeder at least 5 feet or more from the tree trunk and a minimum of 5 feet above the ground. Allow at least 6 inches of chain above the Feeder Dome. Using more chain will discourage squirrels and make refilling easier. NEVER use rope to suspend your feeder. Squirrels can chew the rope apart.

Pole Mounting
In order to get the best fit, take the Seed Tray with you when purchasing a pole. Also, when pole mounting Sky Café Feeder, be sure to purchase a baffle for underneath the feeder in order to keep squirrels from climbing the pole. You will also need to secure the top of the feeder with the Chain and S-Hook provided.

Cleaning
Experts recommend cleaning at least monthly to remove harmful bacteria. Use mild, soapy water, then polish with a soft cloth to keep the Sky Café Feeder looking like new. NEVER use solvents, abrasives, cleansers, or spray cleaners.

*Adapting to any new feeder may be affected by the following situations:

• Other established feeders and natural food sources.
• Mating, nesting, or periodic migrations.
• The presence of a hawk, dog, cat, raccoon, owl, opossum, or snake.
• Frequent human contact at new feeder site.
• Very hot, wet, or windy weather.
• Sickness, pesticide/herbicide use, and mold.
• Loss of cover or nesting area.
