I am amazed at how quickly my cocker spaniels responded to this hydrant! We have a large back yard, so our 4 dogs have too many options when "doing their business." So I bought the hydrant to get them to use the far back corner of our yard. I opened the hydrant, attached the stake, and then let my dogs smell it as I walked across the yard to place it. Immediately, two of my dogs defecated RIGHT BESIDE the hydrant! I was AMAZED! This is such an inexpensive training tool and so very worth it!!!
This thing is amazing! I have a Toy Poodle and I wanted him to be trained to use puppy pads for when I'm not home during the day. I tried alot of things that didn't work. He would go on it "sometimes" but not always. So I got this and rubbed the bottom of it in his urine from when he went outside and brought it in. I placed it on the middle of the puppy pad and wha la! No more accidents in the house! AMAZING!
