| Glen S. Axelrod, MS, F.Z.S., received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, and his Masters of Science degree in ichthyology from JLB Smith Institute of Ichthyology, Rhodes University, South Africa. In 1978, Glen became Scientific Fellow of the Zoological Society of London, a juried honor given to those who, upon application, have made original contributions to science. Glen has been an avid tropical fish enthusiast for nearly 40 years. Currently, Glen is the President and Chief Executive Officer of T.F.H. Publications, Inc., and Nylabone Products.
An avid fish-keeper since childhood, Brian M. Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2001. He writes a monthly column for Tropical Fish Hobbyist magazine, and is the author of The Super Simple Guide to Koi (T.F.H. Publications Inc., 2004).
