Assembling your Silent Spinner
For use as a traditional, floor-standing exercise wheel, simply attach the wheel to the exercise wheel frame. To support the wheel's weight and minimize the used cage space, the curve of the stand's base should extend directly beneath the wheel.
For use as an exercise wheel attached to the cage wall, first locate a suitable location within your pet's cage. Ensure your pet will still be able to safely enter and exit the wheel, by keeping the wheel placement close to the cage floor or shelf, but away from other objects. Then simply hold the wheel against the inside of the cage side. Next, from outside of the cage and directly behind the cage wheel, insert the threaded mounting device between the space in the cage wires. Screw the threaded mounting device into the mounting hole on the back of the wheel. Tighten for safety.
Cleaning your Silent Spinner
Hand wash the spinner in warm, soapy water. Thoroughly rinse and air dry the wheel before returning it to your pet's environment.

I cannot even hear this wheel!! Almost silent, safe, aesthetically pleasing, and versatile. It works equally well free-standing or cage mounted.
In the two years I've had my hedgehog, I've been through three different wheels. The first one squeaked all night, the second rattled. The third banged against the side of the cage and couldn't be attached to the side, so it fell over and trapped my poor little hedgehog! With the Silent Spinner, the only sound I hear is tiny hedgehog toenails scratching, and bedding rustling. It's smooth plastic, with no little holes or bars to hurt my pet, so it's safe and easy to clean. The construction is solid; it won't break, or become noisy, even after being used all night, every night. This is a MUST for any nocturnal pet owner!
This is not the ugly, clunky, and unsafe exercise wheel my childhood pets had to use. I like the sleek, versatile design because it takes up less cage space, whether placed on the floor stand or suspended from the cage bars. But the safety of this wheel is what makes it really stand out from the crowd. No wire holes to pinch your pet's feet and no axle points to catch his tail!
This thing rocks. I'm a super light sleeper and her old wheel used to keep me up. Had to put her in a different room. Since I've purchased this wheel she's back in the room :) Clean up is pretty easy too, a huge plus.
Great product! My lil dwarf hamster, Remmy, loves his new wheel. His old one used to rattle and makes lots of noise, not to mention a bit big for him. This is perfect, (I got the mini) and he runs, and runs, AND RUNS all night! I love to watch him go 90mph!!
Silent Spinners are my favorite wheels for my hedgehog and my rats! They have the distinction of being the safest and easiest to clean, as well as the quietest I've tried. I love that I can detach the stand and attach it right to the cage at any height The one caveat is that the plastic is brittle, so I have had an issue with one of my wheels cracking soon after purchase, but the customer service rep from this site replaced it for free. Also, I make sure to tighten the middle nut regularly, since a particularly industrious animal can cause it to loosen and eventually fall off with enough running!
This is the wheel I use in the cages for my hamster and degus. The degu haven't been interested in chewing it - probably because the plastic is so hard. The large is pretty wide so there is plenty of room for the animal. My pets love it and have spent many hours on it exercising and playing with each other (or trying to get their turn). Other wheels can trap tails or fingers or don't spin smoothly or quietly. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with this wheel.
