Feeding Instructions:
ZuPreem AvianEntrées TM Diets are formulated for adult non-breeding birds and should be the bird's primary source of nutrition. AvianEntrées TM Diets are convenient and easy to serve. Shake the bag before each serving so the bird can enjoy the complete mix of nuggets, fruits and vegetables. Feed free choice and check that the bird always has food in his cup as well as access to fresh clean water. Do not leave moistened food in the cup for long periods of time.
Most birds consume 20% of their weight per day to maintain optimum body condition and help prevent excessive thinness or obesity. For complete nutrition, make sure the ZuPreem diet or combination of diets being fed makes up at least 80% of what the bird eats every day, especially if the ZuPreem diet is supplemented with other food items. ZuPreem diets have precise levels of essential vitamins and minerals and additional supplements are not required and can be harmful to the bird.
Converting to AvianEntréesTM:
Mix the AvianEntrées TM diet with the current food, slowly increasing the proportion of the AvianEntrees TM diet and decreasing the proportion of the previous food over the course of 10 to 14 days minimum. Most birds find AvianEntrees TM mixes very tasty and convert easily. Monitor the color of the bird's droppings to ensure they are well formed. The color of the droppings may change as a result of a dietary change. If the bird is currently on a high seed diet, he may be difficult to convert and refuse to eat. If he begins to lose weight, return to his original food and contact an avian professional.
Note - As an indicator of health, always monitor for changes in weight and body condition. Provide adequate amounts of foods to maintain body condition, preventing excessive thinness or obesity.

My African Grey ate ZuPreem Natural Maintance all of her five years of life, then refused them suddenly. Thankfully, after trying other brand pellet's with no luck, AvianEntrees hit the market. No preservatives in them. My bird ate them the first time she tasted them & still is! Thanks ZUPREEM! |

This is going to sound really bizarre but they smelled so good and my bird adored them so much I had to try them. Well, I can see (I mean taste) why these are such a big hit! The Wild & Spicy mix is not kidding about being spicy either, I can tell when she has been eating it because her breath smells like hot peppers. It is hilarious to watch her attack the pellets the second I pour some into the bowl! She eats them like I have been starving her even though she always has veggies, pellets, or seed available. The only downside is she is so enthusiastic when she eats I am constantly refilling her bowl and there are pellet crumbs everywhere! Heaven help me if I take too long to fill her bowl. She will hop right into the bag and start to munch away. |

I have a rescued Umbrella Cockatoo that is 12 yrs old. Her entire life she was on a seeded diet until she was given to the rescue (3 yrs ago) which started her on ZuPreem fruit. When she came to live with me, she refused everything unless it was seed or ZuPreem fruit. I tried and wanted so badly for her to try other things. I bought one bag of each "flavor" of ZuPreem AvianEntree's. She went crazy over the spicy, even ate the peppers in it. I just wish they came in larger bags.
