| A highly concentrated blend of aquacultured, naturally occurring phytoplankton, rich in protein, Omega-3 and -6 fatty acids and phytonutrients. Carotenoids have been shown to increase coloration intensity of blue, green, orange, yellow, and red pigments in tissues of filter feeding marine invertebrates. Size range of 5-25 microns is optimal for feeding a wide range of filter feeders. Requires no refrigeration or freezing, however, refrigerating after opening will prolong useful life.
Use & Interaction
Compounds provided by phytoplankton enable filter feeders to better utilize amino and fatty acids. These compounds increase metabolic efficiency and exhibit characteristics capable of enhancing immune systems, coloration and protection of sensitive tissue from exposure to UV radiation. ChromaMax is a unique blend of phytoplankton suitable for feeding SPS corals, sponges, clams, scallops, bryozoans, tunicates, Sea Fans, filter feeding Sea Cucumbers, and many annelid worms such as Feather Dusters and Christmas Tree Worms.
Directions for Use:
Add 1 drop (0.10 ml) per 50 gallons to an 8 oz container of aquarium water, stir, and add this to the aquarium every other day in an area of high water movement. Observe reaction of aquarium residents over 8 weeks and adjust dosage accordingly thereafter. In heavily stocked reef aquariums, the dosage will likely need to be increased, however, take care not to overfeed. As with any food, monitor water quality closely after feeding.
Active Ingredients:
Aquacultured naturally occurring blend of Phytoplankton, and Citric Acid.

| Quality Fish Foods For Healthy Fish | | Good nutrition is a must for healthy aquarium inhabitants and a healthy ecosystem. Every year, thousands of fish become diseased or die because of malnutrition. Poor nutrition affects the fish's immune system, making them more susceptible to disease. |
| | Which Food, Which Fish? | | With the wide variety of commercial foods
available, it is sometimes difficult to determine
which type of food to feed your fish. When
choosing a food, the first thing you need to know
is what type of diet is natural to your fish. |
| | FAQs: Fish Diet | | No single food can provide all of the nutrients your fish need - protein, lipids, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals - in the forms each species prefer. Thus, the key to good feeding is variety. |
| | Understanding Aquarium Fish Nutrition | | Proper nutrition is essential for healthy aquarium inhabitants. Achieving good nutrition is more than choosing a food and feeding your fish. When selecting food for your fish, consider the dietary needs of all your fish. |
