My 2 year old Chocolate Lab received an Egg Baby from a family member for Christmas. I was extremely skeptical - my dog loves toys, but none last for more than 30 minutes before you are picking up a mess. We showed him the egg baby and the eggs, we showed him that we were putting the eggs in while he was waiting for us to give him the toy - now it did take about 5 times showing him that we put the eggs in the toy tummy - and much to our surprise, he started seeking out the fun of finding the eggs! It is amazing. Now, this is not a toy that you leave unsupervised - we use it solely for our playtime with him so that we can replace the eggs for him. It is highly addictive for him though, and he loves the interaction. Great toy - I am amazed that it keeps his attention for so long, in fact, you will be trying to hide the toy from him just to give yourself a rest! We love the toy - great invention for active smart dogs!

I've purchased two dinosaurs and I am now back to purchase two more, plus egg refills. My lab and unknown mix both love them. Usually they destroy their toys in minutes by pulling out the stuffing and squeakers. They did chew up the dinosaurs, but the eggs are intact (after 2 years) and they squeak them all the time.

These are the best toys going! One of my dogs always pulls the squeaker out of her toys - often within minutes of getting it. We have a "hospital" for all the ones that are repairable. It took awhile for her to understand that it was okay to pull these pieces out but now she's like a puppy with it! She loves it! I am buying another one!

Our beagle, now nearly 10, has gone through many of these egg babies over the years. When she was a puppy, she chewed on everything including these toys! And periodically we have gotten her new ones as they needed to be replaced. For a busy dog, they are great!! Thank you for having such a good toy available!!

I ordered the Platypus for my Chihuahuas knowing the flat "feet" would allow them to drag it about. This has become the favorite toy and my more playful dog, Parker, never tires of it. Even the squeeky eggs which bounce erratically when thrown give hours of play. I'm recommending this toy to all of my friends.

My pug cannot have any stuffed toys, as she will eat any stuffing! This toy is great - she loves it, and she gets so excited pulling out the eggs! No stuffing to worry about.

If we could only buy 1 toy for our 2 "kids" the egg babies would be it. Even though both the dinosaur and hedgehog eventually got shredded, they lasted much longer than the other toys Blue and Lucy got for Christmas and one egg is still left (the rest got lost outside). They now keep stealing the last egg from each other and just love it. Lucy (a Mastiff, Shephard, Rottweiler mix) loves pulling the eggs out of the baby. Blue (a Bluetick/Husky mix) is more interested in making the eggs squeek and shaking the hedgehog than he was in getting the eggs out, but it is definitely their favorite toy. I am ordering more and as long as they keep making them, I will keep buying them!

Brady (2 yr.lab/boxer mix) just loves his egg baby! He has the platopus and just can't wait to play with it. I showed him only a couple times how the eggs go in the tummy and now you can't keep the eggs in the tummy. As soon as you put them in, he takes them out and squeaks the eggs. He doesn't try to shred the toy, just get the eggs out to play. It is hours of fun!

I have a 10 month Schweenie (shih tzu-dachsund) that loves stuffed animals. I noticed he loves "Find It" games so I bought him the dinosaur. When he saw me stuff eggs and pull them out only a few times, he got the message. He will bring us the eggs, we put them inside, he pulls them out, we put them in, he pulls them out and so on and so on. It is a great way to have play time together. These stuffed animals and eggs hold up to a lot of abuse. Now my baby has his own baby and that's the way he treats it. A highly recommended toy for any age.
