Large reservoir holds 100 oz.

Keep the water fresh and pure in your Cat It Fountain by changing the filter cartridges monthly. Replaceable Filter Cartridges are available in a 3-pk, and the manufacturer recommends monthly filter changing. You can also add the optional Food Dish, which allows you to keep dry kibble or canned food in the same unit as the waterer. The food dish attaches to the Cat It Waterer and can be removed for easy cleaning.

I have two fussy cats. I have had several Drinkwell cat waterers, but this one beats them hands down. I have fewer problems with cleaning, and the cats love drinking from the bowl and the dome. I can't keep enough water in it to keep them happy, and they certainly let us know when it isn't running properly. Thanks for having such a wonderful product!

I really love the Cat It Fountain. I have 2 kittens and 1 senior cat. The kittens love the fountain, they lick the dome and try to chase the water down the dome. My senior drinks much more water than before, but he won't touch the dome!! He watches the kittens lick the dome though. Thanks... great product.

I love the Cat It Fountain! I've had it for about a week now and it is such a cool thing to have. I was really concerned about my cats not drinking enough. They are taking to it a little more slowly than I would like because they are both so used to water bowls. If your cats are a little apprehensive like mine, just give them time and they will soon like it.

I've had two Drinkwell fountains over the years. I finally bought a Cat-It because I'd had enough of trying to get the catslime out of all those nooks and crannies. The Cat-It is a breeze to clean and even my one cat who refused to drink from anything but his old bowl has taking to slurping at the dome. Thank you so much, Cat-It people : )

Our 3 cats love the fountain and the fresh water. It comes apart easily for cleaning however I can not figure out how to take the pump apart to clean the vents where the water goes into the pump. Any suggestions other than toothbrush, toothpick, etc.?

I must say I was amazed at how much more water my cats drink now. Before, I would come home and find the water bowl still full, but now I have to refill it every couple of days. I have four cats, and I am thinking about buying another one just so I don't have to replace it so fast.

This was the best money I've spent. I have a split family, two cats who are 13 and two who are just turning 2. The elderly cats were drinking hardly anything, and within 2 days of getting this product they (between the 4 of them) are drinking it empty every day and a half. The older ones don't like the dome, but the kittens enjoy both drinking from it, and having water fights... thank goodness for the optional mat!

I've had this fountain for over a year. The difference in my elderly cat's fluid consumption was immediately obvious in the litter boxes. I think he may like it especially because he has only one eye, so has depth perception issues. He drinks from both the dome and the dish. I unplugged the unit one morning until I could get around to refilling it. Cat licked the last few droplets off the dome, realized something was wrong, and looked up at me as if to say, "well, fix it!" Yes, sir! The price here is WAY better than at the pet mega-mart. Definitely a good value.

I love it, and so does my cat! Mr. Big got a UTI, and so I bought him this fountain, to replace the old "water cooler" type he wasn't so interested in. This fountain is not only adorable, it also doesn't make a splashing sound like the other fountains. I also love the attached food bowl! Mr. Big now has a cute little food bar of his own!

3 out of my 4 "boys" love the Cat It Fountain. The fourth must be a purist because he chooses the plain old water dish that we keep in the basement for them. The boys are drinking more water - and we all know how hard it is to keep cats hydrated, so Cat It was a perfect solution.

Terrific! All my cats love it! The thing is easy to use, simple to clean, and all-around healthier for my pets. It also continues to amaze them even though I've had it for a couple of weeks now. It took some of my cats a day or two to adjust to it, but now they love it! It's also much quieter than the other water fountains I have, so I don't have to be annoyed by the trickling water sound at night. A definite must buy.

I have had the fountain for a year and this is the only water bowl that we have been able to keep this long. It is so easy to clean and the cats love it. They love to drink from running water. They love to drink from the bowl and the dome. The food bowls are great also.

I was a bit sceptical at the beginning about how my cats will take the new addition and how much trouble it will turn out to be. But I was so tired of them sitting in my bathtub that I had to try something... and after two months of having the Cat It fountain I am very satisfied! My cats do not show much interest in the tub anymore, they seem happy to be able to drink fresh water when they want to, and it actually does not require much maintenance. Initially there were some problems with the water flowing evenly over the dome, but the problem has resolved itself. The filters do pretty good job of cleaning the water and it is very quiet: you can only hear the water flow occasionally. And even though I have long haired cats and the fountain is next to the food bowl, it does not get messy at all. I do clean it once a week, but it really could go for longer without the cleaning. I definitely recommend it for cats who are especially picky drinkers and who like their water tap fresh. Also the fountain gives different drinking options: each of my three cats has their own way of drinking.

I've been using my fountain for about 6 months, and my cats LOVE it! I have 6 indoor cats, so I have to fill it every day, but the water is much better quality than from the tap. I feel my cats are much healthier using this fountain. It's also easy to clean and maintain. The cats love it when I throw in a few ice cubes!

At first I was not for sure if my cats would like the dome part of this fountain. But I was wrong. My cats love it. Every time I walk by the fountain, I end up seeing about two to three cats drinking for the dome. My diabetic cat loves it the most - fresh water all the time for him; I cannot keep it filled up enough for him. I recommend this product 100% for all cat owners.

I love it! My cats use it! It really is easy to maintain and clean - no deep unreachable crevices, no sharp edges to catch my hand on, and refilling is just too simple!

At first it was somewhat of a spectacle for my 11 cats. They tested the flow of the dome with their paws, and spent a lot of time simply watching the Cat It Fountain. But by end of the first day two cats had already taken sips from the bowl, and now they drink not only from the bowl but also lick water from the dome.

As a cat lover I have 8 inside cats. After many years of trying to keep fresh water out for them it was still a fight to keep them from drinking from the toilet or jumping in the tub wanting the water turned on very slightly to drink from. My cats LOVE this fountain! I have 3 cats and have to put water in it every couple of days! It's also a lot neater because they can't knock it over and spill water across my kitchen. It's quiet too, and less of a hassle than a water bowl because I don't have to replace the water every day. The filtering keeps it fresh. My cats drink a LOT more water than they did before, so it's good for them too! I have no regrets about buying this and definitely recommend it!!

My cat likes playing with the water drizzling over the dome. This makes her drink more water and I feel relieved that she is getting proper water intake. Ice cubes in the bowl section cools the water. Weekly cleaning of the fountain is a little time consuming because of the parts and the clear film detectable to the touch, but this is worth the fresh running water. A pleased purchaser!

Yes, this is a great invention for cats. Our three love it, and all use it a little differently. One of your reviewers asked about cleaning the little square black pump. It lifts right out of the base of the fountain and I simply wipe the sludge off the vent area. That does the trick. I don't think you need to take it apart, and am not sure how you would do that.

My cats LOVE this fountain. I've been using it for two or three years. They were a little hesitant at first, but quickly got used to it and drank a lot more water than before. Then I broke it -- oops! It took a couple of months for me to replace it, but when I took the new one out of the box, my cats IMMEDIATELY recognized it, and one of them was trying to drink out of it before I even put it down on the floor! Obviously she had missed it!
