Waste-Free Fine Sunflower Chips 5 lbs (approx. 5 qts)
Product has very little debris
The birds love this product. Especially the Finches. During the migrating season on their way North, we must of had over one hundred at a time feeding on this product. Feeders full of birds and many more waiting in the trees vying for a turn at the feeders. During the summer months we will have a few who stay around because of the sunflower chips in the feeders.
A beautiful sight seeing all the birds feeding.

This product brings such a variety of birds!
When the feeder is filled with these fine sunflower chips we get all manner of birds to feed there. Even the bluebirds flock to it! Right now the goldfinches are all over it. Cardinals love it, even a red-headed woodpecker comes for it. Makes for some colorful viewing. I gave a bag of these chips to my son and his wife who live near a bird sanctuary and they commented that within a week they had seen so many birds at their feeder, also including blue birds and goldfinches. I've been buying this product for about a year and it's about all I buy anymore.

Waste Fre Fine Sunflower Chips
I tried different bird seeds and my patio was a mess. I saw the chips in the store and they were very expensive, so I looked on Foster & Smith. It was much more reasonably priced so I bought a couple bags. My patio is much cleaner, every bird and their relatives flock continuously throughout the day. Unfortunately, so do the squirrels, so I added a couple of bags of peanuts to the next shipment and gave them their own place away from the feeders. So far, so good. Also the domes that go over the feeders to deter squirrels, are fantastic and they work!

Good Bird Seed
I purchased this primarily for the small birds that come to my feeders, although all the birds (and the squirrels!) love it! I keep a feeder for small birds filled with it & in the mornings, I also put some on the sidewalk in the back of my house & watch squirrels, sparrows, finches, bluejays, even mocking birds & woodpeckers occasionally, feed on it. It seems very fresh to me, & I love that it is waste free. A good bargain!
