Birdie Chalet Seed Cake 6-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 6-3/4" high
loved this, saw cardinals, red-headed woodpecker and small birds - was neat.
Need to find a way to support from bottom, the birds feed from the top and it came loose from the string. They loved it, I will buy more of these.

Brings in lots of birds
I love this item. I only wish it were less expensive. I bought it on sale. I hung it on my tree in my front yard and it brought in all kinds of little birds, especially a little cardinal that was so pretty. I looked out my window once and there was a bird clinging to it while eating and about three more in a little line on the tree as if waiting their turn! It was fun to watch. The only drawback is the price. The birds went through it so quickly (they were also sharing with a couple of squirrels who weren't content with just their peanut feeder). I can't afford to replace it on a regular basis (I also have 4 cats and a dog). I tried one of the round seed balls that cost a bit less, but it didn't attract the amount of birds as this one, plus the ball was eaten in less than a week. I think the squirrels liked it better than the birds did.

Cute Gift for Gardeners
I gave this as a gift. The recipient loved it, but said a greedy squirrel came along and carried the whole thing off.

Great idea but needs redesign
I was extremely excited, as were the birds, when I put out the chalet and seed ball. They are very pretty and the birds just loved them. The only problem is that they both hang by a string. The first day I put out the seed ball and during the night something chewed through the string. All I found was the string on the ground beneath the tree I had it on. The second day I put out the chalet, but decided I would bring it in the house at night. But, by the time I got back home it, too, was gone. Once again, all I found was the string! The birds loved it for the short period of time they were able to enjoy it. I assume the squirrels and raccoons benefitted more than the birds did though. Please redesign these products! They are great, but no way am I going to spend that much on something that can be chewed through that easily.
