Frequently Asked Questions
| Q. |
What is the spacing between the bars? Could my pet get his head caught between them? |
| A. |
The spacing between the bars on all models is 3-3/4" wide. Some pets may be able to get their heads through the bars and potentially get caught. The best way to determine if your pet's head could fit between the bars is to measure his head at different angles (looking straight at you, tipped to the side, or at a cocked angle etc.). If at any angle his head measures 3-3/4" or smaller, he could get his head stuck. Keep an eye on him the first few times you travel with him and the barrier. The manufacturer does not recommend this product for puppies or small breed dogs.

| Q. |
How easy are these to install and take out? How are they held in place? |
| A. |
The Euro Barrie-Aire is very easy to install and remove from your vehicle. The barrier comes with illustrated instructions and the pieces slide together to make installation a snap. It can be done with one person, but having a partner will make installation even easier. The Euro Barrie-Aire is pressure mounted and requires no drilling or attaching to hold it in place.

| Q. |
Will the Euro Barrie-Aire damage the interior of my car? |
| A. |
No. Since it is pressure mounted it will not leave a crease in the headliner of the vehicle.
|
| Q. |
How sturdy are they and will they hold up if in a car accident? |
| A. |
The amount of force the Euro Barrie-Aire can withstand in a car accident depends on the weight of the dog and how hard he falls into the barrier, and the impact from the accident. It is almost always in the best interest of both you and your pet to have your pet restrained while in a vehicle.

| Q. |
Will this work with bucket seats? |
| A. |
Yes, the Euro Barrie-Aire will work with bucket seats. Make sure that you purchase the barrier with the correct amount of bars, either the 4- or 6-bar barriers (item #9589 or item #9590 ), to ensure that your dog cannot slide under it.

| Q. |
Would it hurt my dog if chewed? |
| A. |
There have been no reports of a dog getting hurt or sick from chewing on the Euro Barrie-Aire. The enamel can come of if your dog is allowed to chew on it, and if moisture gets into it where the enamel is missing, the barrier could rust. The coating on the Euro Barrie-Aire is non-toxic to your pet.
