Automatic Feeder 2-Day
The 2-day pet feeder works well to feed my kitty while I am out of town. I use it when I know I'll need to work past her feeding time. The only con (if there is one) is that there isn't an on/off switch. The timers continue to run on the AA battery even after the lid pops open.

After placing the battery the timer worked so silently that I was thinking that the feeder was broken. But I set the timer for a few hours and it worked fine. The battery compartment seems to have no cover .

Not heavy enough
I bought this to prevent my cat from overeating and give him portions of food while I was gone overnight. The timers seem to work just fine but I found the feeder half way across the house and flipped up-side-down the last time I left the cat for 36 hours. He had received one portion but since the feeder was on its' top, the second door was unable to open. Needs to have a heavier base to keep the cat from using it as a toy.

Did not work for my dog
Mid size beagle chewed up feeder and tore it apart completely when we left it for a day to try it out. Would recommend for cats, but not dogs. Maybe very small dogs. Feeder trays are a bit small and do not hold a lot of food. It's easy to set the timer. Also, the battery is not held in place by a cover and I am still looking for the battery. Hope he did not eat it!
