It works.
Huge struggle with wildlife this year getting at bird feeders, had to take hummingbird feeders down; these baffles keep the squirrels tfrustrated, though they keep trying. Next year we will see about how they work on the racoons, which were attracted by the sugar water. Good product.

very good
I was watching squirrels on my feeders with the mandarian baffles, and they are totally puzzled!!!! The worst they can do is chew some of the plastic at the top, and I think the metal washer prevents that. They got so frustrated(their tails were whipping up and down very fast) they chased each other in anger.

Best hanging feeder baffle
After having two feeders raided and eventually destroyed by squirrels, I bought one of these baffles and gave it a try. After two years, the baffle is in perfect shape (bought the clear, and it's still clear) and the feeder hasn't been touched by the squirrels! Now I have another baffle above a suet cage, and the squirrels are working hard to figure out how to get that peanut butter suet, but not a chance. I cringed at the price when I first bought one, but it's WORTH IT for all the food and feeders it saves.

This product works very well.
We tried pretty much everything to keep the squirrels out of our bird feeder. Nothing worked. I got the baffle and is doing a great job! The squirrels can't tip it to reach the feeder. We had to fill the feeder once per day due to the squirrels getting into it. Now it is down to once per week. The squirrels haven't given up, but it is a riot to watch them try to get to the feeder! The birds really seem to like it also. I would recommend this to anyone who has a hanging feeder.
