The squirrels are gone. Now the birds can eat uninterrupted. I would suggest that when installing the baffle you take off the tightening screws from the ring, slip on the baffle from the bottom, and install the ring from the top. Put the ring through the baffle from the top, and then re-install the 4 screws.

Exactly what I needed - great quality
I'm extremely satisfied with the baffles that I ordered. They are top quality and just what I needed to keep the invaders out of our bird nesting boxes and bird feeders. I will order more as I need them. Our yard is Wildlife Certified so we have many feeders and nesting boxes. So grateful to find a company with quality products - Doctors Foster and Smith. More than 100% Satisfied. Have already referred several friends and neighbors to your company.

My squirrel baffle worked perfectly. Enjoyed watching the birds getting to actually use their feeder. My feeders are on shepherd hooks so the hook had to be cut, the baffle attached, then welded back together. Not a big deal. Problem solved! Love it!

It's got those squirrels "Baffled"!
This product is as advertised! The key is that it is 36" long and I fastened it as far up the post as possible. My sister bought a 24" model and eventually, the squirrels jumped high enough to get traction about half way up and the sprint to the top was only a foot away. With the 36" baffle, they still have two feet to go and they just slide down the baffle.
