Cleaning instructions
Your Ring Pull Feeder is the newest design in the revolution of clean. It allows for disassembly of your feeder in seconds without tools for thorough cleaning and makes reassembly easy. Simply lift the cap and pull the ring on the metal rod. Ports and base will release from the polycarbonate tube. Remove the cap by sliding it to the top of the bail wire and then gently pulling the ends of the wire out of the bail rod. The bail rod locks into the tube and should not need to be removed. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to sanitize. Use a bird feeder brush to scrub away grim inside the tube. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
To reassemble, insert the pull rod through the hole in the bail rod. Make sure that you have paired male and female ports. Hold the top two ports in place and slide the rod down, adding pairs of ports as you go. The base must be position so that the holes in the side of the base are aligned with the perch rod holes at the bottom of the tube. Allow your feeder to dry thoroughly before filling with seed.
