NutraSaff Seed 5 lbs
Wild birds love my feeders filled with NutraSaff
I was looking for a wild bird seed that didn't appeal to pesky birds such as cowbirds, grackles and starlings who so often took over my feeders...NutraSaff was the ticket. I offer both Safflower and NutraSaff seed to the cardinals, golden and house finches, carolina chickadees and even the wrens....10 to 1....they prefer the NutraSaff. Best part is the squirrels don't like it. I highly recommend this product.

A great choice for many song birds but especially Cardinals. We have a dozen or more in our backyard since we starting using this product.
Nutrition for the backyard birds is just as important as the nutrition we supply for our canines.
No waste and you will find lots of birds at the feeder that you did not even know you had in your area.
Cardinals will move in by the bunch!
Great pricing and quick ship from Dr Foster & Smith

The birds really like this seed, and the best thing is the squirrels DON'T.
I was having a hard time with the squirrels dumping my bird feeders. I have feeders set up for them, but squirrels like to save their food for last. I can feed the NutraSaff in the feeder closest to the house and the squirrels just aren't interested. All the birds seem to love it, especially the finches, sparrows and wrens.

Nutrasaff was a huge hit with a variety of birds at our NYC winter feeders, as well as migratory birds this spring. It is particularly appealing to house and goldfinches, cardinals, mourning doves, and red-breasted grosbeaks. They all like traditional safflower too, but consistently emptied the Nutrasaff feeder before the others. The shell really is thinner, making it visibly easier to crack and producing hulls that are chaff-like, hence easier to clean up. The squirrels and sparrows ignore it. Definitely a winner.
