great for the hummers and cleaning
Ordered for next year, it was on sale. We need two feeders to avoid fighting among the hummingbirds we have in our yard. We have a similar feeder and find the birds love it and it is easy to clean and refill. They will sit on the railing while feeding. Highly recommend.

Attractive and well designed feeder.
I bought this feeder because of the high perch and small size. Feeder is just outside kitchen window so I wanted to be able to see the hummers clearly. And having spot to rest is important for them. Sugar syrup spoils quickly in our summer heat, so wanted a feeder that insures I refill often.
It is the easiest to take apart of all the feeders I've owned. It comes with a built in ant barrier which really works! And it is attractive not garish like so many hummingbird feeders. Great product!

Good design. Well made.
The new higher perch rail shows careful thought--as does the shape of the nectar holes. The hummers sit and try to drink the whole thing dry--if they are not chased away by a more dominant hummer.
I appreciate the easy clean design and the provision for ant moat and rain overflow; even though I hang the feeder under our eaves.
I do sometimes have problems with tiny insects entering through the nectar holes but that reminds me to change the sugar solution frequently. Having the smaller capacity (8 oz) also helps me change the solution more frequently without wasting sugar solution.
