They feature a virtually indestructible recycled plastic lid and a PVC body. They boast a nylon mesh sock to increase the seed capacity and to give cling feeders a foothold. Replacement nylon socks are available, too, so you can use this feeder for years and years. Each is proudly made in the USA by retired artists who believe the best bird feeders are attractive, well constructed, and easy to clean. Includes a plastic-coated steel hanging cable. How to Fill and Clean
To fill this feeder, simply lift the lid and pour in a finch seed blend until seed fills up the sock and then the PVC tube, as well (approximately 1-1/4 quarts seed). Replace the lid and hang in a location your birds frequently congregate.

To clean, remove all seed from the feeder and also remove finch sock (only remove sock if you have a replacement sock ready). Wash the inside and outside of the feeder thoroughly in nontoxic soap/water solution. Rinse thoroughly in clean water. Dry completely. Attach new sock (if replacing). Refill and re-hang feeder.
