Perfect Platform Feeder
I had wanted a platform feeder due to the limited number of trees I have in my back yard. I was hesitant at first to spend the money, but I have no regrets. I debated between the smaller platform and the larger...I am glad I went with the large feeder. This platform is wonderful! It is very sturdy has a good weight to it and comes assembled! All I had to do was add food! The distance between the platform and the roof allows for plenty of viewing room. It is super EASY to clean too....just hose it off. I did place my feeder on 4 square stepping stones so I could add small piles of sunflower seeds around the legs of the feeder......to my delight I have attracted several mourning doves...which was my goal! We have currently had large amounts of rain and the food has appeared to stay dry under the large roof and the animals keep coming back. I use a combination of the large feeding brick and loose seed so I have many squirrels and birds visiting at the same time. Although the feeder was a bit pricey, I am very pleased! You won't be disappointed if you too decide to splurge!
