Tree Icing Feeder on the Spot 2-lb tub
I like this product
I bought this suet product after a friend used it. It is much easier to use than the suet blocks or balls. It can be applied to the bark of a tree, to the edge of a feeder or just about anyplace birds can find it. The applicator wooden spoon that comes with it is not very useful and quickly breaks, but a regular knife works well. Keep the container in a warm place (inside not on an enclosed porch for instance) to make it easier to work with. A great way to feed peanut butter and suet.

A Treat For Birds
I find that the Black-Capped Chickadee's and Nuthatch wild birds go crazy over this Tree Icing. I modified the Pine Tree Farms Tree Icing Feeder by drilling two 1 1/2" holes through the feeder with the 1 1/2" hole saw and also adding two 3/8" dowels through the feeder for perches.

The birds love this
I put this icing on the bark or limbs of my tree, and the woodpeckers loved it besides all the other birds. I've tried another icing before, but the birds seem to be attracted to this tree icing instead.

I have tried all kinds of suet and suet feeders. This stuff is the best. I have never had so many woodpeckers come as I do now that I use the Tree Icing with the Tree Icing Feeder. The Tree icing Feeder is awesome too. The bully birds can't cling onto it so they aren't able to eat it. In addition to woodpeckers, I have seen chickadees, tufted titmice and carolina wrens eat from it. Awesome stuff!
