Nice feeder
I make my own peanut butter/corn meal/shortening bars to put in a suet feeder. The blue jays gobble it up and keep the smaller birds away so I bought this feeder to help keep out the big birds and it works great. They are able to reach in a little bit but can't get big chucks. A nice sturdy product.

Squirrel proof!
I have found the squirrel upside down trying to get to the food but to no avail. Finally, something I like and it keeps the squirrels from getting the food.

It keeps out Red-Winged Blackbirds
This suet feeder is great and just what I wanted. It lets the small birds get to the suet but effectively blocks the hordes of Red-Winged Blackbirds that quickly tear apart and devour or just scatter suet from a regular suet feeder. I'm not bothered by squirrels because I have predator baffles on the posts holding my feeders but it sure looks like this feeder will keep them out as well. I highly recommend this suet feeder.

I think it's too early for me to review this product. The birds don't seem to like it but I haven't figured out why. They go inside, don't feed, then move to another of my feeders.
