This feeder has a nice design.
The feeder works well at keeping squirrels out, however, I have issues with grackles and other black birds are impossible to keep away. Otherwise it's good.

Holds more seed than most tube feeders
I had another tube feeder for a year or two, but the birds ate all the seed in a couple of days. This feeder holds almost twice as much seed.
The red sqirrels can get in, but I have a twirl a squirrel thing that spins the feeder when it detects the squirrels weight. For some reason the cardinals won't go inside. They eat the seed on the bottom. Blue jays also hold onto the side and eat from the bottom. They also cause the feeder to spin. So far the birds seem to love it and I don't have to fill it as often.

DEFECTIVE DESIGN
PICTURE WITH PRODUCT SHOWS TOP COMES OFF AND STEM
REMAINS ATTACHED TO BOTTOM ....THEN BIRD FEED IS POURED
IN ...IN ACTUALLITY THE STEM ALSO SCREWS OFF ATTACHED TO
THE TOP AND IF YOU THEN FILL WITH FEED YOU CANNOT LOCATE
THE HOLE FOR THE STEM AND THE TOP SO THE FEEDER CANNOT HANG ONTO A POLE OR A TREE. THE STEM IS SHOULD SEPARATE FROM THE TOP ...IT DOESN'T!
I CONTACTED THE COMPANY "BIRDS CHOICE" ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND ME A NEW STEM AND
TOP THAT WOULD WORK,,,,,,I HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING
SO FAR IT HAS BEEN THROWN OUT MONEY
