Best Feeder for attracting birds close to window.
After enjoying the birds at my daughter's window cafe, I decided to purchase one for myself. I have been able to identify birds that previously I put in the little brown bird category. The purple finch and house finch were close enough that I learned to tell the difference. The cafe is very easy to fill, and clean. It is well designed to fit against the window and dispense the feed slowly. Currently I have a nut mixture in the feeder, but would like to try other types of seed.

I have installed Window cafe a couple of weeks ago (mid January). Installation was very easy, just following the instructions. Suction cups hold the cafe very well so far. Refill is extremely easy.
It took about two or three days for the first birds to come. So far the visitors were tufted titmouse, pair of cardinals, black eyed junco, house finch. If you are patient enough within a few minutes, you may make a good shot.
Cafe is installed on the kitchen window (next to sunk), so sometimes birds are frightened by our movements; however some of them got accustomed to it, and don't pay attention to us.
If the feed contains millet, its seeds frequently falls to the ground next to the house wall, and birds are afraid to catch them (as opposed to the feeders hanged on tree branches). I would recommend to use sunflower seeds and other medium size grains.

Great view of birds
Had my first window café for years even when it fell 2 stories on a regular basis because of large birds feeding. Easy to clean and very durable.
