Recycled Platform Feeders

Steel cable runs through each corner and meets at the top in a double loop for hanging. This ensures superior balance and stability. Recycled Platform Feeders may be used with or without optional slip-on, acrylic Tray Covers. Unique design shrugs off rain to protect seed and birds from weather and transparent design allows you to quickly determine when feeder needs refilling. Cover is super-sturdy and simple to put on and remove when you need to.

Platform Feeders
A platform or tray feeder is any flat, raised surface onto which bird food is spread. These feeders attract most species of birds, since they have raised sides for birds that prefer to perch as they eat, and flat areas for ground feeders. The platform should have plenty of drainage holes to prevent water accumulation. A platform with a roof will help keep seeds dry. Placed near the ground, they are most likely to attract juncos, doves, and sparrows.
