 Natural wood suet feeder is ideal for larger woodpeckers, like the Pileated Woodpecker. Extra-long tail prop provides more room for supporting bigger birds. Made from 1-1/2" natural inland red cedar, this feeder is naturally weather resistant and durable. Comes ready to hang - includes vinyl coated hanging cable. Holds two standard suet cakes. Measures 9" x 3" x 21-1/2" high.

Cleaning Instructions:
Untreated cedar will weather to a beautiful soft silver gray. However, untreated cedar wood is porous and may become discolored if left in damp or shaded areas. A 10% solution of household bleach in water will usually remove the stain.
Linseed oil is a safe and natural wood protectant that can be applied to cedar. Allow to dry before adding seed and returning to its backyard station.
