good sturdy product
I have two of your "Chalet Deluxe Hopper Feeders" and they are the best bird feeders I have owned to date. The seed stays dry, the larger birds have difficulty landing on it (a good thing) and the feeders hold a lot of sunflower seeds, so I don't have to fill them up as often as other feeder types.

Great feeder!
I bought this squirrel proof feeder for my dad. After checking it out (pre-gifting) it was great! Easy to fill, I'm no squirrel, but it seemed pretty rodent proof to me! Very light-weight, too.

Sturdy, Large Capacity
I love this feeder! The large capacity means I'm not going out every day to refill this one. I have some very nice - and large - tube feeders that are better at discouraging squirrels but, this one is large enough for both the squirrels AND the birds to come and have a nice meal while still not being able to empty the feeder out before 3 or 4 days have past. The contruction is of sturdy metal, painted with a texturized coating. After one year in NW weather, there is still no sign of rust. There have been no issues with the feed getting wet, either, as the overhang and the drainage seem to handle the rain well.
Easy to open and easy to fill but, perhaps the most important issue is that, right away, the birds seemed to love it. I've had feeders where it took weeks for the birds to start using it. This one drew them in immediately. I would not hesitate to purchase another. Oh, just make sure you have a good sturdy branch or a metal hanger because when this one is loaded with feed, it is quite heavy.

A very smart and sturdy design.
Put this out by the porch Christmas morning and the rosies went right to it, followed by cardinals and titmouse. In the excitement, some gets on the ground but the mourning dove clean it right up. Easy to fill and hang in the redbud tree, a winter delight for all.
