Can"t Beat It!
I feed the birds year-round, and for the past two years I have substituted the Absolute Feeders and did not have one squirrel victory until last week. It was my fault because Hurrican Sandy and related wind incidents forced me to relocate one of the feeders to a less than desirable branch that was only a foot away from the next branch. (I hang my feeders among other, often dead branches because I find that the cardinals need a series of small hops to make it to any type of feeding perch.)

Love this feeder!
It does what it's supposed to,keeping out the larger ,greedy starlings and crows which crowd out all the smaller birds;they tried for several days to get food ,but have completely given up now!
With the pole I have it 9 feet off the ground safe from cats and impossible for squirrels and raccoons to raid.
We can watch the many songbirds all day who visit! The sparrows, finches, chickadees, cardinals ,woodpeckers, nuthatches, and others thank you!
PSit holds so much I only have to refill weekly.Nice! And keeps the seed dry ,too!

good idea - bad execution
I bought this because it had a pole and I didn't want to run all over finding one that would fit. However, the pole is made up of multiple plastic pieces that simply insert inside the next. When the heavy feeder is placed on top, the whole thing lists to one side. And of course, the whole thing fell over in the first breeze. The pole simply isn't sturdy enough to hold the feeder so I'm off to do what I wanted to avoided, run around finding a pole that fits!
