Poor design
The seed does not fill in the ports unless you shake it hard. Very annoying.

Birds cannot reach the birdseed
The design of this feeder DOES prevent squirrels from eating the seed, however, the birds can't eat the seed either because it is so far down in the feeder and they can't reach it .
If you don't want to feed squirrels OR birds this is the feeder for you!

Birds Couldn't Figure it Out
I bought this feeder about a year ago. The birds couldn't seem to get to the seed. They didn't like it. At first I thought my seed was stale (even though the birds were eating it out of every other feeder). So I replaced the seed. They still didn't like the feeder. They'd hop on but seem not to be able to reach the seed. It may keep squirrel's away, but it also keeps my birdies away. This feeder was a failure in my back yard.
