PRO-Wormer-2®

Double Strength pyrantel pamoate liquid wormer for dogs and puppies. A highly palatable formula and easy to give - dogs love it! Give it directly to your pet or mix with food. For the removal of large roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina) and hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala) in dogs and puppies. Fasting prior to or after treatment is not necessary. Most dogs willingly lick the dose from the dish. For finicky dogs, pour over food or administer directly into mouth with Oral Syringes, sold separately. For dogs and puppies only.

The presence of these parasites should be confirmed by laboratory fecal examination. Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism.

For puppies: Administer at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 wks of age. Treat mother at the same time. Please shake bottle before each use.

For adults: Administer monthly or as recommended by veterinarian. Please shake bottle before each use.

Dosage: 1 tsp (5 ml) for each 10 lbs body weight.

Deworming history of newly acquired puppies should be obtained to determine whether additional deworming is needed.

Puppies: Initiate treatment at 2 weeks, repeat at 4, 6, 8, and 10 weeks of age. For a puppy at increased risk, also treat at 12 weeks, and then monthly until the puppy is 6 months old.

Nursing Dams: Treat concurrently with puppies.

Adult Dogs: Treat regularly for prevention. Also monitor and eliminate parasites in pet's environment. For maximum control and prevention of T. canis reinfection, adult dogs kept in heavily contaminated quarters may be treated at monthly intervals.

Newly Acquired Animals: Worm immediately: repeat in 2 weeks, then follow above recommendations.

Dosage: One milliliter (1 cc) for each 2 lbs. of body weight or 1 full teaspoon (5 ml or cc) for each 10 lbs. of body weight.
