The My First Home Tank Topper converts any 10 gallon tank into a multi-level high rise for hamsters, gerbils, and mice! 1. Unwrap the Wire Panels and lay on a flat surface with the doorway facing downward.
2. Carefully unfold the Front, Back, and Side Panels.
3. Lock the Right and Left Side Panels onto the Back Panel by snapping the Wire Hooks through the Wire Loops.
4. Lock the Front Panel onto the Side Panels.
5. Flip Wire Set to upright position. Position the Comfort Shelf with Opening on the 9th full-length wire bar down from the top on the left hand side, with the opening toward the rear of the home. Press down so that shelf locks firmly into place.
6. Position one of the remaining Comfort Shelves next to the Shelf just installed. Press down so that shelf locks firmly into place next to the Comfort Shelf with Opening.
7. Position the final Comfort Shelf on the 2nd full-length wire up from the bottom on the right hand side. Press down so that shelf locks firmly into place.
8. Attach the Safety Ramps to the Comfort Shelves by clipping the two tabs on the Ramp to the edge of the Comfort Shelf. Attach the 9" Safety Ramp onto the top left Shelf toward the front of the home. Attach the 12" Safety Ramp onto the lower right Shelf towards the rear of the home and lock into place.
9. Place the "Bowl-in-the-Hole" in the opening in the upper left Shelf.
10. Assemble the Little Brick House by folding the front, back, and sides inwards and locking the tabs in the corners of the front and back walls into the openings on the side walls.
11. Attach Stairs to Little Brick House by pressing the tabs on the back of the Stairs into the slots on the wall of the House.
12. Insert Water Bottle into opening in the top of the Little Brick House, so that the sipper tube on the Bottle emerges from the small oval opening in the front of the House.
13. Place House with Stairs and Water Bottle into the base of the 10-gallon tank, toward the left hand side.
14. Place the assembled wire Tank Topper with Shelves and Ramps on top of the 10-gallon tank. You may adjust the wire tabs on the bottom of the Tank Topper to get the best fit for your tank.
15. Clip Spring Latches to the rim of the tank to secure the home.
16. Write your pet's name on the enclosed Nameplate Label and place the sticker on the Pet Nameplate. Clip the Pet Nameplate to the wire anywhere on your pet's new home.

Safety:
To safely secure your pet inside the home, firmly press the Z-Lock Latch on the top of the cage behind the 2nd cage bar up from the door opening.

Cleaning:
To clean your pet's home, simply unsnap Tank Topper from tank by unhooking the two Spring Latches. Empty and wash the tank, wipe dry, refill with fresh bedding material and replace the Tank Topper onto the tank.

To maintain a healthy environment for both you and your pet, the entire cage and accessories should be thoroughly cleaned and the bedding changed once per week. Cage and cage accessories can be washed with warm water and a mild soap. Thoroughly rinse each washed item, however, to ensure all soap residue is removed. Then let the product air dry before returning it to your pet's environment.
