Using your Lock-On Litter Pan

1. Locate a suitable, easily accessible location within your pet's cage.
2. Unscrew the included plastic nut by turning the nut counterclockwise.
3. Place the litter box against the cage walls, ensuring the plastic bolt fits between the vertical cage bars.
4. Re-screw the plastic nut onto the plastic bolt from outside of the cage bars, by turning the nut clockwise on the bolt.
5. Fill with your pet's favorite litter.

As with any small pet toy, food, treat, or containment device, supervise your pet's use of the product. Periodically inspect the product for signs of excessive wear and/or damage. Immediately remove the product from your pet's environment if signs of wear and/or damage are present.

Cleaning your Lock-On Litter Pan

1. Remove all litter and waste from the pan.
2. Wipe away any excess litter or waste with a damp cloth.
3. Hand wash in warm water with a mild detergent.
4. Thoroughly rinse and air, or wipe dry before returning to your pet's environment.

To maintain a healthy environment for both you and your pet, the entire cage and accessories should be thoroughly cleaned and the litter and bedding completely changed once per week. Heavily soiled litter and bedding should be removed daily, with replacement bedding and/or litter added as needed.
