Assembly Instructions

1. Unwrap the Wire Panel Set and lay on a flat surface with the doorways facing upward.

2. Carefully unfold the Front, Back, and Side Panels.

3. Lock the Right and Left Side Panels onto the Back Panel.

4. Lock the Front Panel onto the Side Panels. Note: If the Wire Hooks have become bent during shipping, carefully pry them open to fit into the Side Panel Wire Loops.

5. Flip the Wire Panel Set over and attach the Exercise Wheel onto the 20th bar up from the bottom on the Right Side Panel of the home.

6. Place the assembled Wire Panel Set on top of the Plastic Base, with Sticker and the Doorways facing forward. Lock the wire between the Plastic Base Attachment Tabs. Lock the wire onto the Plastic Base using the two Plastic Side Latches. Attach one Plastic Side Latch to the 5th bar up from the bottom on each Side Panel of the home. Be sure to snap the Plastic Side Latches under the lip of the Plastic Base to secure the cage.

7. Position the top Comfort Shelf to the 16th full-length bar down from the top of the Left Side Panel of the home.

8. Position the middle Comfort Shelf w/Opening on the 24th full-length bar up from the bottom, on the Right Side Panel of the home, so that the opening faces the front.

9. Position the bottom Comfort Shelf to the 10th full-length bar up from the bottom of the home, on the Left Side Panel.

10. Attach a Safety Ramp to each Comfort Shelf making sure that the opposite ends of the Ramp rests on the lower shelves. The bottom Ramp should rest on the floor of the home. Note: To attach a Safety Ramp to the front of the Comfort Shelves, follow these steps: Position the Ramp so the side marked "Top" is facing upward. Attach a Ramp to the Shelf by snapping the two clips on the Ramp to the edge of the Shelf.

11. Attach the Hammock to the roof of the home in any desired position your pet will find comfortable.

12. Place the Bowl-in-the-Hole Food Dish in the opening of the Comfort Shelf w/Opening.

13. Write your pet's name onto the enclosed Name Plate Label and place the personalized sticker on the Pet Name Plate. Clip the Pet Name Plate to the wire anywhere on the outside of your pet's new home.

Safety
To safely secure your pet inside the home, firmly press the "Z-Lock" Latch behind the 3rd horizontal cage bar above the door openings.

This is the PERFECT home for rats! I love how the ramps and platforms are plastic, not wire, and my boy rats love lounging on the platforms, plus this is a HUGE cage with tons of space and also very easy to clean. I just love this cage and so do my rat boys! The more space the rats have, the happier they are, and there is so much room in this! You will love it.

I got this cage for my first rat and I put her in and she loves the hammock for sleeping in and the top floor I put a hut there, she loves. The urine flows into the groves on the floors on the edges so when she feels the need she's not stepping in a giant puddle. The wheel is really quiet too. The bowl is real nice because she can't get bedding in the food, or knock it over. Takes two people to lift though. That is the only downside.

I have two of these cages for my rats and I looove love them! Great price for TONS of room! I have plenty of chewy toys so they don't chew on the plastic, and it's easy cleaning once you get it down. My little ratties love these cages. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I bought this cage for my two female rats.I got it super fast in three days and was so happy with the fast shipping. This cage is really nice for pet rats. They just love the room they have now and also they like the wheel. The size is nice and roomy and the bar space is good. I was a little worried about the bar spacing because one of my rats is only six months old but she can't get out. Great cage for the price. Just hope they don't ever chew on the bottom. I have had four female rats kept in a cage like this one before and they never tried to chew on the bottom so hopefully these new girls will not. So far so good.

I originally spent a lot of money for what I thought was a rat cage from a different site. Even some of the reviews said great for medium size rats. Turns out it was for ferrets and rabbits, and they would squeeze through the bars. I went to this website because I knew they sell great stuff, and it turns out, they had a great rat cage. The spacing is perfect for next time we get a baby, and our 4 adult rats have so much room to play if we can't take them out for a day or so. They'd rather be out of the cage, of course, but at least they won't be cramped when they are in. They even love the wheel. Definitely worth the price.

I bought this cage in May 2008 for the solid balconies and ramps (one of my rats injured his foot on wire flooring). This cage is the only cage that should be purchased for rats, chinchillas, etc. It's huge, easy to clean, and offers plenty of area for toys and play. My rats love every bit about this cage as much as I do.
