Assembly Instructions:
Unwrap the wire panels and lay on a flat surface with the doorway facing upward.
Carefully unfold the front, back, and side panels.
Lock the right and left side panels onto the back panel. Snap the wire hook through the wire loop.
Next lock the front panel onto the side panels. Special Note: If the wire hooks have become bent during shipping, carefully pry them open to fit into the side panel wire loops.
Flip wire set to upright position. Place the wire set on top of the plastic base so that the sticker and the doors are facing front. Lock the wire under the attachment tabs.
Attach safety ramps to comfort shelves by clipping the two tabs on the ramp to the edge of the comfort shelf.
Position assembled comfort shelves on wire bars. Press down so that shelves lock firmly into place.
Attach plastic side latch on each side of cage. Be sure to snap latches under the lip on the plastic base to secure cage.
Place "bowl in the hole" food dish in comfort shelf.
Attach ferret hammock to cage bars as desired (for XL size only).
NOTE: Cage comes with more detailed assembly instructions.
Safety
To safely secure your pet inside the home, firmly press the Z-Lock latches on the top and front doors of the cage behind the second cage bar up from the door opening.
Cleaning
To clean your pet's home, simply unsnap the wire top from Plastic Base by lifting the two Side Latches. Empty and wash the Plastic Base, wipe dry, refill with fresh bedding material and replace the wire top onto the Plastic Base.
To maintain a healthy environment for both you and your pet, the entire cage and accessories should be thoroughly cleaned and the bedding changed once per week. Cage and cage accessories can be washed with warm water and a mild soap. Thoroughly rinse each washed item, however, to ensure all soap residue is removed. Then let the product air dry before returning it to your pet's environment.
While cleaning your pet's cage and cage accessories, provide a safe, comfortable location in which your pet can exercise, explore, and play. To safely confine your pet, while also allowing her to get the essential exercise she needs, we recommend an Exercise Pen for Small Animals (item #25463 or #28419).
