I've tried several different paper beddings for my rats, and this one is my favorite by far. It has much less dust than other varieties, and seems to do very well for absorbing and controlling odor. It's nice and fluffy, so my rats can do their house-keeping very easily: when they push new fluff over some of their messes, and move clean bedding into their nests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hyunibee Soft and fluffy
This bedding is like shredded toilet paper. It's extremely soft and compacted. To fluff it up, I mix it with pine and/or aspen shavings. I use a handful a day of the mix in my Cavy boar's pigloo which is where he prefers to sleep/pee/poop. I change that out everyday. The pigloo is actually nested in a box so that I can easily change out the contents. The rest of the cage is just wood shavings and hay. He does hang out in his Fiddle Sticks hide sometimes so I'll throw some in there but only clean that out once a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LSPF Very Versatile! Great For Rabbits Too!
I LOVE this product. I use it for my rabbit litter by layering it with Feline Pine and hay. I pack a 1" layer of Clean & Cozy on the bottom of the litter box. Then a layer of Feline Pine, just enough to cover the Clean & Cozy. Then a layer of hay. Enough to cover the pellets. Any kind of hay. Prairie hay etc. Whatever is cheap. I use the brown timothy hay my rabbits leave and won't eat. This method works great. The Clean & Cozy absorbs, the Feline Pine deodorizes, and the hay keeps it all neat and prevents any contact with the pellets. And the rabbits like the hay on top too. I top it off with a little more hay at least once in between changing to keep it neat and clean. The litter stays fresh longer. Great for hamsters too. Pack some in the corner of a hamster cage and they will create a cozy little igloo.
