Make sure wattage of bulb or wattage of ceramic heat emitter is correctly rated for your size terrarium to avoid overheating terrarium.

1. The Deluxe Porcelain Clamp Lamp is for use ABOVE screen-top terrariums and cages only. NOT for use inside any animal cage or terrarium.
2. Make sure clamp is securely suspended above the terrarium with appropriate hanging hardware.
3. Keep elevated and out of reach of children.
4. Avoid overheating your terrarium.
5. Make sure wattage of bulb or wattage of ceramic heat emitter is correctly rated for your size terrarium. Do not exceed rating.
6. Do no splice, repair, or modify cord.
7. Do not use in wet conditions.
8. Use indoors only.
9. Fully insert plug.
10. Fully extend cord before using.
11. Do not cover with blankets, rugs, or any flammable material.
12. Do not use damaged cord sets - inspect periodically.

• Connector with screws

Attaching Clamp Arm
In order to attach the clamp arm to the base of the fixture you need to use the connector (looks like a pair of curved grips/brackets, connected to each other by a screw). On one end are the curved flattened arms that go around the ceramic base of the lamp. The knurled ball on the end of the clamp arm should go in the other end of the connector. You may have to loosen the screw to get the brackets to open wide enough to go around the ceramic socket. When everything is in place simply tighten the screw.
