Improve water clarity and keep your Fluval Multi-Stage Canister Filters functioning its best. Fluval Filter Foam Blocks provide mechanical filtration to effectively capture particulate waste in turtle tanks, paludariums, aquatic terrariums or any aquatic reptile setups. Helps keep water clear and prevents premature clogging of other filter media in the Module Stack. Custom fit prevents bypass and special pore size and design allow efficient water flow with less clogging for long-lasting filtration.
Although the primary purpose of the Fluval Filter Foam Block is mechanical filtration, biological activity will eventually occur within its pore structure to support enhanced biological filtration. Fluval Filter Foam Blocks should be cleaned monthly and replaced every 6 months to ensure best performance.
