It works Great, but...
I thought it was kind of pricey until I had it in operation. The unsung features are worth the price I paid. The construction and "Fit & Finish" are impeccable. I don't need humidity and misting all the time, just enough to counteract the winter heating in my house. I run the mister for 15 min to half an hour a couple or three times a day. It was wonderful and didn't use too much water and Mr Hissy was very comfortable. (How do you know a snake is comfy? He comes out of hiding and basks.) Then one morning I forgot to turn it off before going to work. Oops! My Fault. It emptied the botle of water and turned off like it should. Mr Hissy had wet bedding til I got home and cleaned him all up. I have ordered a controller, can't wait til it gets here. The mister is excellent: quiet, fine, clean, mist, auto shut-off when water is low so mechanism doesn't burn itself up, easy to refil and re-start. Adjustable mist flow from light to heavy, stable base, easy to position the outlet for mist flow into habitat. Why didn't I know of this years ago when Mr Hissy was a hatchling the size of a pencil? He's a big fat five foot fellow now, a little humidity helps with his molting.

great for extra humidity
pro's - great at supplying the right humidity and is very quite.
con's = drips a lot of excess water into substrate and it's a pain and extra cost to only us distilled water.

No variance on amount of fog
I purchased this fogger to help with the humidity in my tortoise enclosure. It has a dial for different levels of fog, but you can not tell the difference. Whether I put the dial on min or max, the same amount of fog comes out. Money down the drain....
