Turtle Pier Basking Platform

Forget fixed platforms, the Turtle Pier self-adjusts its height to ever-changing water levels! Perfect for turtles, frogs, newts, and salamanders, elevated pillars provide plenty of swimming room beneath the basking level. When they want to dry off, a sure-grip ramp welcomes pets gently out of the water. Small (for hatchling turtles up to approximately 5") pier tucks neatly into a corner, saving space in smaller aquariums. Large (for turtles up to approximately 8"), for medium and large aquariums, includes a counter-balance chamber to fill with gravel when used with larger turtles. Suction cups secure piers in place. Each pier features textured E-Z Slide ramp and insert/port for filter cord. Durable plastic cleans easily with any reptile-safe cleaner.

Small includes: Basking platform, three 8"-12" long support pylons with caps, 5" wide x 7.25" long textured ramp, filter cord port, and optional filter holder.

Large includes: Basking platform, four 8"-16" long support pylons with caps, 5.5" wide x 6.75" long textured ramp, filter cord port, and base assembly with underwater bridge.

1. Assemble base.
2. Insert pylons into base.
3. Place in dry or wet tank. Install extensions for deeper tanks.
4. Slide platform over pylons.
5. Screw top caps onto pylons. (Do not fill tank above caps.)
6. Install ramp.

The Gravel Chamber (Large Pier only) is an optional feature designed to counter-balance the weight of larger turtles. Simply fill the Gravel Chamber with gravel or rocks to add weight to the platform. This will help to prevent the ramp side of the platform from tipping under the water when the turtle climbs up the ramp.
