Clamp Light

Specifically designed to withstand the high heat of reptile incandescent lamps, this portable lamp has an insulated power cord and ceramic socket. Double-wall reflector dome directs heat down to your reptile, while long, flexible gooseneck allows for greater control of both heat and light. Features convenient on/off switch on cord, safety guard on dome, and heavy-duty clamp. Comes fully assembled. UL-Listed. Includes one-year manufacturer's warranty.

For use with up to 150-watt lamp (not included); both heat and incandescent. Not for use with ceramic heat emitters. Dome measures 5-1/2" dia x 8-1/2" long with safety guard; gooseneck measures 13-1/2" fully extended; clamp measures 4-1/2" long x 3" wide; cord measures 6 feet long.

• Always disconnect fixture from electrical outlet before attempting to install or replace lamp.
• To install lamp, squeeze and pull safety guard from reflector dome. Use up to a maximum of 150-watt Type A incandescent bulb. Make sure lamp is fully screwed into socket and snap safety guard back into reflector dome.
• Plug fixture into acceptable outlet. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted.
• Use on/off switch located on power cord to turn lamp off and on. After turning off, always allow fixture and lamp to cool for 15 minutes before handling.
• A timer or temperature controller capable of accepting a polarized plug may be used to operate the fixture.
• Attach clamp to side, screen cover, or any other ledge outside of the cage that will allow lamp to be properly positioned over housing.
• For reptiles: Position fixture to form a thermal gradient with a warmer side and cooler side in the enclosure. This will allow reptiles to adjust their body temperature more easily. Always use a thermometer to monitor inside of habitat. Choose an incandescent lamp that will provide an appropriate environment as determined by reptile species, volume of reptile housing, and ambient climate.

• When installing or replacing lamp, use up to a MAXIMUM of 150-watt Type A incandescent bulb.
• For use with dry enclosure only. Do not use next to water or immerse in water.
• Do not hang fixture from cord. Use provided clamp.
