Pretty Pets Tortoise Food

Vitamin and mineral fortified, fruit-flavored Pretty Pets Tortoise Food provides a delicious diet for many types of land tortoises, including Desert Tortoises, Leopards, Sulcatas, Stars, Red-Footeds, Greeks and Burmese Mountain Tortoises. Since Pretty Pets Tortoise Food is nutritionally fortified, there's no need to feed your tortoise vitamin and mineral supplements (see "More Information" for details). Small Tortoise Food comes in small pellets in a 16 oz container; Large Tortoise Food comes in large sticks in a 3 lb bag.

Feeding Instructions for both Large and Small Tortoise Food:
Fill feeding dish daily as needed. Pretty Pets Tortoise Food should comprise at least 80% of the total food intake, which would eliminate the need for extra vitamin and mineral supplementation. Your tortoise should have fresh food and water available at al times. It is frequently helpful to mix the new food with their present food. This speeds acceptance of the new food and allows the tortoise's digestive tract time to adjust. Pretty Pets Tortoise Food may be moistened or fed with chopped fruits and vegetables. Moistened food should be removed from environment daily. Pretty Pets is nutritionally fortified, extra vitamin and mineral supplements should NOT be used unless you are feeding less than 80% Pretty Pets. Please store in a cool, dry place or refrigerate.
