Luft Pump

The Luft Pump delivers 7.0 psi against water pressure, making it an excellent choice for ponds. Its heavy rubber diaphragm cannot be damaged by back pressure; this means if an airstone has not been maintained, the diaphragm won't be damaged. The adjustable rheostat increases air flow by regulating electricity, not by blocking air flow, allowing more efficient, economical performance. Can be used with multiple valves or T-connectors for multiple devices. Quiet operation. Includes replaceable airline filters and airline clamp. 6-3/4" x 3-1/2" x 3". 0.14 CFM. For ponds under 500 gallons.

Removal

1. DISCONNECT LUFT PUMP FROM ELECTRICAL OUTLET.
2. Remove Bottom Plate by removing four bottom screws.
3. Remove Oscillating Arm Assembly by removing screw. Slide the Oscillating Arm & Rubber Diaphragm away from the plastic housing until the diaphragm is completely clear. Do not remove the plastic valve housing.

Reassembly

1. Install new Rubber Diaphragm on the Oscillating Arm by using nut supplied with your repair kit.
2. Place Oscillating Arm Assembly with new diaphragm into the slot inside the housing (Make sure the nut for screw and screw are secured with glue or nail polish).
3. Slide the rubber diaphragm over the plastic valve housing.
4. Tighten screw.
5. Replace Bottom Plate by using four bottom screws. Be sure the filter area on inside of plate is located at the coil end of the pump.
6. Your Luft Pump is now completely reassembled and ready for use.

WARNING: Do not start pump before replacing bottom plate. Do not plug unit in unless it is completely assembled. Never touch any wiring inside the pump when it is connected to a power outlet.
