Pond Aeration Kits

These aeration kits provide quick and safe gas exchange. Help remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide while allowing water to hold more oxygen. Aeration makes ponds more suitable for fish, lowers surface freezing, promotes efficient biological filtration in your pond, and helps retard algae growth. Easy-to-install kits.

The 50-lb Kit circulates water in ponds up to 4,000 gallons, delivering 0.8 CFM at a 24" depth. Uses 25 watts at 4.5 psi. Includes 12 ft of weighted tubing, 2 clog-resistant airstones and supports 50 lbs of koi when diffuser is at 48" depth.

100-lb Kit circulates water in ponds up to 8,000 gallons, delivering 1.8 CFM at a 24" depth. Uses only 50W at 4 psi - much less than a heater. Includes 20 ft of weighted tubing that stays on the bottom of pond and 4 clog-resistant airstones. Supports up to 100 lbs of koi (e.g. 100, 12" koi or 30, 20" koi) when diffuser is at 48" depth.

200-lb Kit circulates water in ponds up to 12,000 gallons, delivering 3.0 CFM at a depth of 24". Uses only 90W at 4 psi. Includes 40 ft of weighted tubing and 8 anti-clog airstones. Supports up to 200 lbs of koi when diffuser is at 48" depth. Airstones create less than .25 psi resistance.

Installation Guide
The mini system will provide oxygen for up to 50 pounds of fish (when diffuser is at a 48" water depth, less fish weight at a shallower depth) and circulate water in ponds of up to 4,000 gallons, while using only 25 watts. This system comes equipped with 12 feet of tubing.

Kit Assembly

1. Screw 4" vinyl tubing onto pump output and slide one hose clamp onto each end.
2. Attach open end of vinyl tubing to black MPT x globe valve. Secure both hose clamps.
3. Slide one hose clamp onto each end of blue weighted tubing.
4. Take one end of tubing and slide it onto black barb attached to the globe valve. Secure with hose clamp.
5. Take other end of hose and slide it onto black barb attached to diffuser manifold. Secure with hose clamp.

lnstallation is easy - just place the ditfuser on the boftom of the pond, then plug in the pump!

Note: It is important to place the diffuser close to the water surface if using the aeration kit during winter. Diffusers placed deep in the pond can dramatically decrease water temperature, creating an extremely stressful environment for your pond fish.

Assembly and Installation Instructions

Assembling the Components:

1. Attach the rubber L-boot to the Compressor Discharge with one Spring Clamp.
2. Thread both male Adapters into the 1/2" PVC female Coupling.
3. Insert the 3/4" barbed end of the male Adapter used in Step 2 into the open end of the rubber L-boot and secure with one Spring Clamp.
4. Insert the 3/8" barbed end of the male Adapter used in Step 2 into one end of the weighted Air Tubing and secure with one 1/2" Hose Clamp.
5. Insert the 3/8" barb on the Air Diffuser Manifold into the opposite end of the weighted Air Tubing and secure with 1/2" Hose Clamp.

Installing the System:

1. Place the Air Diffuser in the center of the deepest area of your pond (Do not exceed 7 feet of water depth).
2. Locate the Air Compressor above the pond water line in a convenient place.
3. Plug the Air Compressor into a 115V receptacle.

Note: It is important to place the diffuser close to the water surface if using the aeration kit during winter. Diffusers placed deep in the pond can dramatically decrease water temperature, creating an extremely stressful environment for your pond fish.

Assembly and Installation Instructions

Assembling the Components:

1. Attach the rubber L-boot to the Compressor Discharge with one Spring Clamp.
2. Thread the large male Adapters into the open end of the 1/2" PVC female Coupling.
3. Insert the 3/4" barbed end of the male Adapter used in Step 2 into the open end of the rubber L-boot and secure with one Spring Clamp.
4. Attach one end of the 3/8" tubing to the fitting from the Compressor and secure with a 1/2" Hose Clamp.
5. Connect the other end of the 3/8" tubing in Step 4 to the center fitting of the Valve Assembly and secure with 1/2" Hose Clamp.
6. Attach the appropriate length of weighted air line to each of the barbed fittings remaining on the Valve Assembly and secure with a 1/2" Hose Clamp.
7. Insert the 3/8" barb on the Air Diffuser Manifold into the opposite end of the weighted air Tubing and secure with 1/2" Hose Clamp.

Installing the System:

1. Place the Air Diffusers in the center of the deepest areas of your pond, evenly spaced from the shore and each other. Do not place the Air Diffusers in water depth that exceeds 10 feet.
2. Locate the Air Compressor above the pond water line in a convenient place.
3. Plug the Air Compressor into a 115V receptacle.
