Cleans without displacing fish or plants

Garden hose powered Muck-Vac uses water pressure to siphon away pond debris such as muck, dirt and fish waste
Keep ponds and water fountains clean and clear with the Muck-Vac. Eliminates muck and fish waste without causing turbidity. Makes your job easier because you don't have to displace fish or plants. Also lowers the water level so the pond is ready for new clean water. Built without moving parts so it lasts longer. Simply attach the Muck-Vac to your garden hose and siphon-vacuum muck out of your pond! Requires at least 50 psi garden hose pressure to operate efficiently. Also ideal for use in spas and small in-ground pools. Hose measures 8-1/2 ft long. Pole with vac head extends from 3 ft to 6 ft long.

Muck-Vac Installation and Assembly Instructions
Attach garden hose to the Muck-Vac Body, making sure the ball valve is in the closed position.
Attach the telescoping pole end with the plastic sleeve to the Muck-Vac Body.
Attach the vacuum head to the Muck-Vac Body. Note: The Muck-Vac work with or without the vacuum head or brush. Try it both ways to find out what is best for your pond, fountain, spa or pool.
Attach the 1-1/4" discharge hose to the other end of the telescoping pole. Be sure the hose cuff is securely on. The unit is now complete and ready to start cleaning.
Turn on the water supply and place the Muck-Vac head into the body of water that is to be cleaned. Now turn the ball valve in the "ON" position.
The Muck-Vac should start to suck the dirty water out immediately UNLESS your water supply pressure is less than 50 psi or less. Then you may need to prime the unit.
Priming the Unit: This is done by lowering the discharge end of the pole close to the ground while keeping the other end submerged in the body of water to be cleaned. This should start the power siphon action needed to vacuum efficiently.
Vacuuming and Cleaning Tips
If your pond is very dirty, remove large debris with a swimming pool style leaf rake to avoid clogging inside the Muck-Vac head, body, pole or discharge hose.
Holding onto the garden hose and Muck-Vac telescopic pole will prevent hoses from tangling.
Discharge debris onto your lawn or garden area. If this is not desirable and your discharge hose is not long enough to reach a patio drain, use the Muck-Vac Hose Adapter included with your Muck-Vac System and Attach another length of 1-1/4 " swimming pool hose (available at most swimming pool supply or home improvement stores).
If your pond or fountain is draining too quickly and you do not want it to because of fish, you may do one of two methods. FIRST: You may break the suction of the Muck-Vac by lifting the head out of the water and hold it over the pond or fountain (NOTE: When you lift the head out of the water, the suction action stops and the waste water hose will flow back into the pond unless you hold the telescopic pole vertically). The water supply will exit from the Vac Head until the pond or fountain is full again. In order to start cleaning again, insert the Vac Head back into the body of water. You might need to prime the Muck-Vac again in order to start the power siphon action again. SECOND: Shut the water supply from the garden hose and then you may break the suction of the Muck-Vac by lifting the head out of the water (NOTE: The dirty water inside the telescopic pole and discharge hose will flow back into the pond IF you do not keep the Vac Head above the drainage area or patios drain). Disconnect garden hose, add more water and then proceed to prime and clean again when the pond or fountain is full again.
