GreenClean Powder (Granules) works on contact to immediately begin fighting algae blooms, and releasing vital oxygen into the water body as it biodegrades. Begins working within 60 seconds of application. 1 teaspoon to 16 tablespoons (1 cup) of GreenClean Granular per 1,000 gallons of water. 2-1/2 lbs of powder (granules) equals two cups.

For low-density algae, use 1 tsp or 1.7 oz per 50 gallons. For high-density algae, use 2 tsp or 3.4 oz per 500 gallons. 16 oz equals about 9 teaspoons. Comes in easy-application bottle.

Directions for Use
It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Avoid use near shallow water body margins during amphibian breeding season.

Contained Water Surfaces:
Water gardens, ornamental ponds, ornamental waterfalls, fountains, birdbaths, standing water.

Non-painted Surfaces:
Floors, walkways, storage areas, patios, decks, railing, roofs, asphalt shingles, siding, fiberglass, stairs, ramps, ground cover mats, weed control mats, concreter, brick, tile, slate, granite, statues/monuments, outdoor furniture, tennis courts (non-grass), shorelines, gravel, under benches, and other non-painted surfaces.

Water Treatment:
Use GreenClean Granular to treat, control, and prevent a broad spectrum of algae in listed sites. Effects of treatment are immediately apparent (bubbling, bleaching/discoloration of algae, floating of dead organic matter). Waters treated with GreenClean Granular are permissible to be used without interruption.

Surface Treatment:
Use GreenClean Granular on all listed non-painted surfaces to prevent and control algae, moss, slime molds and their spore, and the odors and conditions that these organisms cause.

Tips for Treating String Algae:
STEP 1: Turn OFF circulation.
STEP 2: Apply GreenClean Granular to affected areas - including waterfalls and streams.
STEP 3: Turn circulation back on after 10-20 minutes.

Green Water Algae in Ponds

Tips for Treating Green Water Algae:
STEP 1: Shock with GreenClean Granular at the high curative rate.
STEP 2: Treat as needed once per week with GreenClean Granular at the low curative rate in conjunction with water conditioners.

Pond Cleaning and Non-Painted Surfaces

Tips for Pond Cleaning:
STEP 1: Drain pond (remove fish and plants).
STEP 2: Apply GreenClean Granular to all surfaces.
STEP 3: Rinse with water after 10-20 minutes.
STEP 4: Drain Pond.
STEP 5: Re-fill pond (replace fish and plants after de-chlorinating as appropriate).

Application Instructions:
Apply tablets to pond according to recommended rates. When applying more than one tablet scoop, distribute evenly throughout pond.

General Treatment Notes

• Treat when algae growth first begins to appear.
• GreenClean Granular is water activated.
• Apply Early in the day under calm, sunny conditions, and when water conditions are warm.
• GreenClean Granular will work more slowly in colder water.
• Skim any dead algae and organic matter that rises to the water's surface after treatment.
• If using in conjunction with other water conditioners (such as bacteria or enzymes), always apply GreenClean Granular first and wait several hours before adding other products.
• Re-treat areas if re-growth begins to appear. Allow 48 hours between consecutive treatments.
• After application, do not allow undiluted granules to remain in an area where humans or animals are exposed.
• Non-target plants will suffer contact burn if undiluted granules are accidentally spilled on them.
• Do NOT tank mix with aquatic herbicides or algaecides that contains copper or bromides. Always apply GreeClean Granular at least one day prior to the application of these products.
• GreenClean Granular treatments are successful when contact of the pesticide is made with the algae.
• When treating, it is possible that GreenClean Granular will not penetrates the infected area, and a second application is then required for treating any bottom growing algae.

GreenClean FX Liquid
Highly effective and affordable solution to algae problems that plague a wide variety of backyard water features, including ornamental ponds, pondless waterfalls, and fountains. Removing excessive algae growth from pond or fountain will reduce the amount of decaying organic matter in the pond.

Apply GreenClean FX Liquid to ponds and water features according to recommended rates.

Determining water volume:
Length (ft) x Width (ft) x Depth (ft) x 7.5 = gallons

Application Tips:

1. Apply early in the morning under sunny, calm conditions.
2. Measure the pH of water with Test Strips (#72655) before adding GreenClean FX Liquid Algaecide. If pH is below 7.0, adjust the pH to between 7.0 and 8.0.
3. Add one-two teaspoons per 50 gallons of pond/fountain water. Distribute recommended dose as evenly as possible to several areas around the pond/fountain so product evenly dispenses throughout the pond/fountain. GreenClean FX Liquid Algaecide may also be mixed in a bucket of pond/fountain water and evenly distributed around the pond or fountain.
4. Do not shut off pumps or aeration devices; aeration must be continuous during treatment for 48 hours.
5. Repeat dose every 3 days until algae is under control. Once algae is controlled, apply dose once a week.
