Cycle Biological Water Conditioner

Concentrated bacterial formulation rapidly matures new koi ponds. Carefully selected strains of beneficial bacteria, including Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter, actively reduce both ammonia and nitrite to prevent fish loss. Also enhances existing biological filters for optimum filter performance to achieve ideal water quality, naturally.

Unique processing method keeps bacteria in a dormant state until it comes in contact with ammonia or nitrite to ensure effectiveness even after extended periods of bottled storage. Minimum shelf life of three years is guaranteed. Cycle is non-pathogenic and will not harm plants, animals, or humans. It is impossible to overdose.

Use Cycle in established koi ponds after: water changes, medication, introducing new fish, and replacing filter media to maintain a healthy pond. 8.4 fl oz treats 500 gallons.

New Koi Ponds
10 ml (approximately 2 capfuls) per 10 gallons. Repeat every 7 days for two weeks. Thereafter, switch to weekly maintenance dosage.

Weekly Maintenance
5 ml (approximately 1 capful) per 10 gallons weekly.

Addition of New Fish
Use when adding new fish. Makes fish introduction safer and less stressful. Reduces lag time required to achieve low levels of ammonia and nitrite. 5-10 ml (approximately 1-2 capfuls) per 10 gallons.

After Medication
Remove medication with activated carbon or other filtration before application. 10 ml (approximately 2 capfuls) per 10 gallons. Revert to weekly dosage thereafter.

General Information
Cycle inoculates newly established ponds with appropriate living beneficial bacteria. These boost and speed up the nitrification cycle. By doing so, fish will be exposed to less stress (ammonia/nitrite accumulation) and less likely to develop opportunistic diseases.

Regular addition of Cycle will prevent the nitrifying filter from collapsing or to be displaced by other less desirable bacteria. Subsequent use of Cycle will replenish the nitrification film that is subject to predation and succession.
