PhosPure® Filter Media

Powerful, commercial strength chemical filter media for cleaner, healthier ponds. PhosPure® contains 100% granulated ferric hydroxide to permanently remove phosphate, heavy metals, and other pollutants to clarify water. PhosPure® plus Zeolite & Carbon has the added benefit of removing ammonia and dissolved organics. PhosPure® and PhosPure® plus Zeolite & Carbon include 300 micron filter media bag for convenient use. PhosPure® Pad incorporates high-grade carbon, ammonia and phosphate removers in an easy-to-use polyester pad. Simply cut for custom use in filters.

Suggested Use
PhosPure®:
1 tablespoon per 50 gallons of pond water, monthly.
For heavily-stocked ponds use 1 tablespoon per 25 gallons of water, monthly
PhosPure® plus Zeolite & Carbon:
16 fl oz treats 100 gallons.
32 fl oz treats 200 gallons.

Commercial strength granulated ferric hydroxide permanently removes phosphate, arsenic, heavy metals and other pollutants from the water column. Safe and effective, highly adsorptive and non-leaching formulation helps maintain low phosphate levels for cleaner, healthier aquatic systems.

Directions:
Place PhosPure in a fine mesh media bag (included), rinse thoroughly, and place inside any filter. PhosPure can also be used in a media reactor for greater efficiency. Adjust flow rate through contact chamber so the granules do not tumble too vigorously.

Applications:
For Aquariums: Use in canister filters, power filters, sumps, refugiums, corner filters, or next to uplift tube of undergravel filters. For Ponds: Use in filter or pond skimmer. NOTE: In filters that receive infrequent servicing or aquariums with aggressive scum, three times the suggested amount of PhosPure can be safely used at once.

Suggested Use:
For freshwater ponds, use 1 tablespoon (Tbsp.) of PhosPure per 50-gallons of water monthly. For heavily stocked freshwater ponds, use 1 Tbsp. per 25-gallons of water monthly. Monitor phosphate levels with a test kit and maintain levels under 0.05 ppm. Replace media as necessary as phosphate levels begin to rise.

Storage:
Store unused portion in original PhosPure container and close tightly. Do not freeze or store in extreme heat.

For aquarium and pond use only. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. In case of eye contact, flush with water and seek medical attention.

PhosPure Plus Zeolite & Carbon

Directions:
Place PhosPure Plus Zeolite & Carbon in a fine mesh media bag (included) and rinse thoroughly under running water. Place inside any filter in a way that minimizes water bypass. PhosPure Plus Zeolite & Carbon can also be used in a media reactor for greater efficiency. Adjust flow rate through contact chamber so the granules do not tumble too vigorously.

Applications:
Use in filter or pond skimmer. Note: In filters that receive infrequent servicing or aquatic systems with aggressive algae growth, three times the suggested amount of PhosPure plus Zeolite & Carbon can be safely used at once.

Suggested Use:
For freshwater and saltwater aquariums and ponds, use instead of activated carbon for total waste control. Replace monthly in heavily stocked systems, and every 2 to 6 months in moderately and lightly stocked aquariums.

Active Ingredients:
Blend of 64% High capacity cation exchange Zeosorbent, 25% Granulated Ferric Hydroxide, and 11% acid-washed Activated Carbon.
