Little Giant Waterfall Weir

Designed to mimic the hydrodynamics of a natural waterfall, the Little Giant Waterfall Weir eliminated the flat weir edge that creates unnatural sheeting. Built-in drip edge features a channel that directs water for a fluid natural flow. Durable single-piece weir features rear, left or right plumbing ports with hole-saw templates for 2" or 3" pipe installation. Ridged wall provides extra strength and in-ground anchoring. Run multiple Waterfall Weirs for a truly impressive display. The Little Giant Waterfall Weir with 7-3/4" opening accommodates water pump flow rates up to 6,000 gallons per hour and measures 13" x 12" x 9-1/2" high.

1. Determine the best location for the weir along the perimeter of the water feature.
2. Determine the pipe size needed to deliver the desired flow. Note: the weir can accommodate either 2" or 3" pipe but include parts only for the 2" installation.
3. Determine which weir inlet location (rear, left or right) works best for your pipe layout.
4. Using a 3" Hole Saw (for 2" pipe) or 4" Hole Saw (for 3" pipe), drill through the weir at the desired inlet location. Note: Each inlet location has a molded template that represents the 3" and 4" Hole Saw diameters as a center point for the piloting bit of the saw. This helps ensure accurate placement of the drilled hole.
5. Insert the Pipe Grommet into the drilled hole. Note: The grommet for 3"must be purchased separately.
6. Apply included lubricant to the outside of the pipe. This allows easier insertion to the pipe onto the grommet.
7. Insert the pipe into the grommet. To help ensure a water-tight seal the fit between pipe and grommet should be snug.
8. If the water feature includes a pond liner or equivalent:
1. Fold up the liner in front of the weir. Place the liner along the contour of the lower notch. This provides slack in the liner to accommodate settling of the weir or liner over time.
2. Secure the liner by placing the included rubber band into the upper notch of the weir.
3. Carefully cut the excess liner above the rubber band and discard it.
9. Place a rock or several rocks over the top of the weir to help secure it and hide it from view.
