My 30-year old Senegal loves these.
Happy to see that Lafeber formulated
something for the geriatric group.

My Meyers parrot is 20! She has been eating Lafeber food since we adopted her at 6 months old. We have learned that a seed diet can make a bird too fat since they only eat the seeds they like. I like the senior nutri-berries because they are mostly pellets with some fruits. If your bird is older or not too active this is a great treat option that (in limited quantities) won't make the bird fat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bastille My senior cockatiel and pionus parrot love these
My birds have always been enthusiastic about Lafeber's Avi Cakes (sized for cockatiels) and were never were too interested in nutri berries (except for the Popcorn variety as an occasional treat.)
In the past few years they have seemed to be less interested in their evening serving of Avi cakes. I chalked that up to boredom and kept my stash of Avi cakes in the freezer for occasional use.
Since they are both seniors, at 13 yoa and 12 yoa respectively, I thought I'd try the Senior Nutri Berries -- not expecting much -- and to my surprise they gobbled them up. The following evening I offered each of them 2 nutri berries (slightly crushed since neither one eats this type of food by holding it in a foot) and again they enthusiastically ate all I gave.
I continued with Senior Nutriberries each evening until (gasp) I ran out. They both made sure I saw them checking out their treat cups looking for more of that good stuff. Needless to say I will continue to keep Senior Nutri berries in my birds' pantry.
The only negative so far is that the bag is kind of small so I have to order often.
