Feeding Schedule: How to introduce a better diet. Combine with your bird's current diet. Once your bird begins eating Nutri-Berries, discontinue the previous seed mix. Note: Most birds accept Nutri-Berries right away, however, if your bird does not initially eat the Nutri-Berries, flatten them and mix with current diet until accepted. Once your bird is eating the Nutri-Berries, feed your bird as much as will be eaten in a 12-hour period. Let your bird empty the food dish before adding more Nutri-Berries. Ideally your pet bird will be fed twice daily, with the dish being emptied after each meal.
